Nanyuki Road Trip

A drive to Nanyuki can really clear your mind. It’s about 4 hours as you pass the towns of Katarina, Nyeri, and other mini towns. The greenery of the areas gives you breathtaking views. Here’s my story.

I had recently passed by Nanyuki on my way to Meru but didn’t get a chance to explore the place. Therefore, this drive presented an interesting opportunity to see the town. My last time there was in 2018 before I had started this blog.

Roads were pretty clear

I prefer not to make stops on my way but I did at Sagana to do the normal road trip snacks.

The road was quiet with few cars noting it was a long weekend. Once I was in Nakuru, I had lunch at Barney’s which I would highly recommend. After which I headed to the equator.

My stay was close to Olpejeta conservancy but since I had not checked the prices prior, I left this for another day.

Unfortunately Mount Kenya was not visible due to heavy cloud cover but I’m sure there will be a next time. See you then.
