In this era, digital reservations take precedence over making a phone call and guarantee you can get that at About Thyme.
Located at a strange turn in Westlands, the place invites you to a lit garden when dining in the late hours.

Upon entering, the reservation had to be confirmed despite the low attendance. The fewer the people I believe the better the mood set in the dinner.
The place is generally small but reservations can be secured for up to a sitting of 10. They have minimal indoor sitting thus if dining at night it’s better to dress warmly.
Arrived at the venue at 7pm as per my reservations. Easily I was ushered in and due to available sitting I had the luxury to choose my seating.
The menus came in 2s and for my level of dining, it was too complex. Basically I could not determine how my food looked like just by reading through the chef terms. It’s a good thing they had bottled water which I could relate to.

For the starters I had chicken pops which I do recommend the chilli ones.
For the food I choose something inclusive of the word steak to avoid dining surprises.

The great thing perhaps is the fact that the sitting can be rearranged depending on your booking which is a plus.
I did not get a chance to try the dessert but I’m sure i would have fumbled the taxonomy.
They have a bar section which complements the surrounding but that is somewhere I’ll visit next time, About Thyme.
