Day 2 of the trip was spent mostly touring the city. Arusha is a fairly small town with a mix of both urban and rural architecture.

We did lunch at a place known as Uzunguni, and yes there were a lot of foreigners like myself. The place is very famous for roast meat (nyama choma) and I can say their service was exemplary.

After that we decided to tour the Tanzanite Museum which was not too far. Entry is free and we managed to watch an interesting 9 minutes video to understand why the mineral Tanzanite is 100 times rarer than diamonds.

Incase you are looking to buy something, please be ready to spend $400.

All in all, Tanzania does have its wonders.
