Quite a long journey from Nairobi, and through the scenic route to Nyahururu via Thika, I arrived 5 hours later at the famous Thompson Falls Lodge in Nyandarua county.
There is a small fee to pay towards the country for entry and there were a number of cultural dressings at the entry which can be of one’s interest for photography (not me).
The falls were magnificent and I spent some time taking in the thunderous sounds of the water falling.

Panari Resort is set up just at the edge of the falls and it was great to hear the waterfall sounds from the hotel.

There is the option to go down to the falls so it’s best to wear proper shoes. This time I didn’t so maybe next time.
