Crescent Island and the rising waters of Lake Naivasha | Naivasha

It was fascinating to be in Naivasha again. Here I can always revisit on a short weekend.

This time, the journey led to me to The Lake Naivasha and without thought I was on a boat headed to Crescent Island. The waters of the lake were swollen and visibly, there were some structures submerged halfway.

The boat takes you on a short tour of the lake, to the island and will await for you until when you’re done with the island excursion. This will take about 30 minutes.

The island is a conservancy and a walk around the place you’ll get to see different wildlife that graze the surrounding.

You can get a guide if it’s your first time, since the walk may get exhausting when alone. Also for photography purposes.

Interesting enough is there is a museum located on the island which had various information and artifacts.

The sun was very hot that day. I think it remains the same always so do carry your proper shoes, sunglasses, hats, and these memories from everything outdoor.
