Between Thika and Machakos county lies 1 of 3 wonders that I explored, hiking on Mount Kilimambogo. The other 2 being the 14 falls and Oldonyo Sabuk National Park.
It’s a fairly moderate hike and anyone who has not been hiking can easily summit.
The place is famous for camping as well and perhaps next time I’ll have something better than hiking to explain when I return.
Meanwhile, it was my first hike of the year hence there is a lot of fitness ground to cover in 2026. I’m aiming for 12 hikes. Stay tuned for the remaining 11.
